West Ham could make another offer for a French full-back they tried to sign in January.

Whether it’s down to David Moyes, Tim Steidten or David Sullivan, there can be no denying that the lack of incomings in January cost West Ham dearly. A lack of depth was an issue everyone knew about, yet the club didn’t resolve it.

Despite not successfully bringing anyone in beside Kalvin Phillips, there were countless rumours of players that the Hammers were supposedly keen on. However, they could now come back in for some of these players this Summer and, according to Get Football News France, this could be the case with Bradley Locko.

The recently turned 22-year-old has had an immense breakthrough season at Brest and was pivotal to the side finishing in a Champions League spot – the first time in their history.

Unfortunately for them, they will struggle to keep hold of their best players but they will undoubtedly make a healthy profit if Locko does go. They signed him permanently a year ago for just half a million euros.

Alongside the Hammers, Lille and Nottingham Forest are also showing interest, although the latter may struggle competing due to PSR.

Ultimately, Locko is the exact sort of player West Ham should be looking to sign – young, hungry and has world-class potential. It’s only a matter of time until he starts breaking into the France national team and it would be a real shame if our Irons missed out on a golden opportunity to sign a future star.
