As the club close in on Luis Guilherme, ExWHUEmployee has updated on potential further incomings.
Highly rated Brazilian Guilherme, is set to finalise a move to east London on a 5 year deal with a potential total of £30m from the club, in what is seen as a a coup for Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten.
The player is in the process of completing a medical, with Ex advising it’s likely to be officially announced later on in the week, although not concluded just yet but it is very close to being.
Our Podcast co-host and club insider has also further advised on other targets which which were moving forward, with another Brazilian potentially close to agreeing a move to West Ham this summer but this seems to have taken a turn.
“Tim Steidten is still in Brazil trying to finalise a deal for Brazilian and Shakhtar Donetsk defender Vitão”
“However we are also talking to Robert Renan of Saint Petersburg, who at this stage could also be a player the club being in this transfer window although both transfers are proving hard to conclude again.”
Ex has also reported that Portuguese international Jota Silva is keen to join the club this summer and work under Lopetegui.
The club are aware of the price required to sign the player, and therefore it’s seen as a relatively straightforward deal should we decide to pursue a move for the Vitória de Guimarães winger.
West Ham are also heavily focused on rebuilding the defence this summer, with it understood that Nayef Aguerd is very likely to depart, as is Kurt Zouma.
At this stage Max Kilman and Jacob Greaves are seen as potential incomings, with Hull City captain Greaves keen on a move to the east end of London.
Other potential incoming players this summer include midfielder Aleix García of Girona and the Spain national side and defender Juan Miranda of Real Betis.
Ex has further advised that the club haven’t yet given up completely on signing Brazil defender Bruno, with a possible resurrection of the deal which collapsed earlier in the window. Although the chances do appear quite slim at this stage.
Ex will be keeping fans fully up to date on the transfer activist as it happens on The West Ham Way Patreon.
