A Massive European club are showing interest in signing a crucial West Ham player.
Given how many players West Ham need to sign this Summer, the last thing they need is for more of their crucial players to leave. The club had prepared themselves for the departure of Lucas Paqueta and had put plans in place to replace him, but his move to Manchester City seems unlikely to happen unless he is found innocent of his betting charges.
Obviously any club losing an important player is a big deal, but when you’ve got to already sign 6-10 players it becomes devastating.
Unfortunately, that very thing could be about to happen as, according to a report from Peşindeyiz, Galatasaray are weighing up a move for Vladimir Coufal in order to strengthen their backline this Summer.
At 31-years-old, Coufal is someone the Hammers would potentially want to upgrade on in the near future but, considering that Ben Johnson is also likely to depart, they can’t afford to lose both their right-backs.
His contract does expire in a year’s time and talks have been anything but positive. He believes he should be earning much more than he is and, in fairness, he is by far the most underpaid player in the squad. There is the possibility that the Hammers could choose to cash in now rather than risk losing him on a free in just 12 months.
