West Ham have completed the signing of Luis Guilherme, it has been confirmed by ExWHUEmployee.

“We have just had it confirmed to us that Luis Guilherme will has completed his move to West Ham,” stated the club insider.

“The club are expected to announce the deal either tomorrow or Friday. A squad number hasn’t be chosen yet and will be sorted out when the players return to preseason. Number 8 and 31 are likely to be his preferred options.

“I hope this is a transfer that can be a hugely significant one in a few years. If he has the potential as has been attributed to him in Brazil then we may have one hell of a player on our hands!

“Let’s me honest it’s the only way West Ham can compete to get players like this by getting them early and I really hope Tim has got his homework spot on. Time will tell but any decent Brazilian is something to get excited by.”

Having been exclusively reported by Ex back in January, Technical Director Tim Steidten identified the player as a target and has been working on the deal for months.

It was then further reported on 24th April that the club were moving for the highly rated Brazilian, and now he has signed a deal understood to be a 5-year contract for a total of £30m (£23m + £7m in add ons) from Palmeiras.
