West Ham are edging closer to releasing the new kits for next season, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update on the designs.

As has been revealed by our Podcast co-host and club insider previously, it’s understood the new home kit design is based upon our 1965 European Cup Winners Cup side.

Ex has stated that it will also be a return to the traditional white shorts and white socks, something that has been absent in recent seasons in east London.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, ExWHUemployee has now provided an update on nexts seasons away kit (with a mock design available) – which is an all-black design, something which has proven popular in recent seasons.

“I have been lucky enough to see the away kit yesterday after a source from Umbro sent it to me,” stated Ex.

“It’s not clear to make out on our image (on Patreon) but there is also a faint image of St Mary Le-Bow Church in the material too.

“There is also a white bell on the back of the neck. This kit is due to be released in July.”

In an interesting update also, Ex has revealed that the club is no longer to be sponsored on the sleeve by JD sports, with a new sponsor set to be revealed soon.

It’s understood there are some loose dates on the release of the kits, with Ex advising 24th June for the Home, Away the 27th July and the third of 16th August, this however has not been confirmed as yet.

Ex will keep fans up to date and provide further details on The West Ham Way Patreon.
