West Ham players and staff will be flying off this weekend to commence our first period of pre-season training ahead of the new season, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The club will be taking part in a tournament in the United States later in the summer, however prior to that we will be heading to Austrian fitness camp, it has been advised by our Podcast co-host and club insider.
“The players will fly out on Saturday for a fitness camp in Austria to start their preseason build up,” stated Ex. “They may play a couple of friendlies against local sides whilst out there but the main focus will be fitness work as is always done at the start of the campaign.”
Ex also advised that the club will now be shifting our attention to other targets following the likely signing of Max Kilman from Wolves, with the club looking to close in on a new striker as well as other positions.
“The club will try and narrow down that forward position and identify the main target and work towards getting that deal closer to the line,” added Ex. “We should start to see movement in that position.”
