The latest update on West Ham’s potential partner for Max Kilman is one that will have fan’s ecstatic.

After a long period of rumours, talks and bids, West Ham have finally signed Max Kilman. The former Wolves captain is someone Julen Lopetegui was desperate to bring to the London Stadium.

Despite signing him for a whopping £40 million, he’s someone that will play a massive part in solving the biggest issue the Hammers had last season – their defence. Unfortunately, the jobs not done and, in an ideal world, the club will sign at least one more centre-back before the window shuts but that’s unlikely to happen unles Zouma or Aguerd is sold.

If that does happen, the Irons already have a number of potential suitors lined up but none are more exciting than Jean-Claire Todibo.

Before comepleting the signing of Kilman, they did put in a bid for the Frenchman worth around £25 million. This was promptly rejected by Nice and it was decided that the Englishman was the player they’d rather spend their money on.

Surprisingly though, there seems to have been no hesitation in Todibo’s mind about a move to West Ham as, according to GIVEMESPORT, the Frenchman is actually very keen on the idea.

A player of his quality would be expected to move to one of the ‘big’ clubs and Manchester United have held firm interest in securing his signature. That clearly isn’t how he thinks which is brilliant to hear. If our Irons were to come back in for him, assuming they raised the funds from player sales, it’s great knowing that there’s unlikely to be an issues in selling the project to him. This may actually give the recruitment team motivation to try again to sign him as it makes negotiations much easier when the player actively wants the move.
