West Ham are continuing to work on our summer rebuild with developments being made on targets, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

It’s been reported previously and exclusively by our Podcast co-host and club insider that the club had identified Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jean-Clair Todibo as targets this summer, and the club have attempted to get both potential deals moving forward.

Wan-Bissaka of Manchester United is seen as an alternative to Kyle Walker-Peters and it is understood the player is keen on a move to east London.

“A fee of close to £18m perhaps up to £20m with add ons is being talked about,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “AWB is said to be keen on the move but other clubs are circulating.

“West Ham hope to land either Kyle Walker-Peters or AWB for the right back position.

“AWB’s wages plus agent fees could be an issue although he is assigned to Will Salthouse.

“At this stage KWP deal is now less likely with AWB the one we are currently working on but of course things could change. Expect further reports and progress with AWB as the days go on.”

There has also been significant movement in the potential deal to bring in Nice centre-back Todibo, with West Ham agreeing a loan deal with the French side – although player preference appears to be denting hopes of a successful conclusion.

“West Ham did agreed the loan deal with obligation with Nice but the player wants to join Juventus so we don’t think we will sign him,” advised Ex in an update. “Of course if Juventus don’t match the deal we may have a chance but it doesn’t look likely at this stage.

“West Ham are now expected to move on to other targets and one of those at centre back is Oumar Solet of Salzburg and a few others.

“Expect there to be some movement with AWB soon”
