There is no denying that many changes are afoot in east London, with a significant squad rebuild and new boss creating much excitement and expectation over what might be in store for West Ham fans.

In the modern era with ever-progressing technology available, super computers are oten utilised to provide a fully worked prediction for what the upcoming season may bring – and the one which has been reported by the Daily Mail has provided a somewhat positive season ahead.

Although many Hammers fans will be hoping a return to European football qualification will be realised, the super computer predicts West Ham to fall just shy of that feat by finishing in 8th place.

“New West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui will have a brilliant first term improving by five points and one place,” it states in the report.
