West Ham players are very much enjoying their football under new Head Coach Julen Lopetegui, ExWHUEmployee has revealed.

Its been a huge shake up in east London this summer, with further new faces expected to arrive under the new regime of Lopetegui as the Head Coach and Tim Steidten operating as the Technical Director.

Prior to the summer many fans were hoping for a shift in how our Hammers approach things, particularly in our style of football, who many had felt had become at times too defensive minded in recent seasons.

Lopetegui has come into the club with much anticipation of how he would like to operate and the style he’s implement on the team – and we can now reveal that the players are already excited and happy with what they have witnessed so far.

“The players are said to be buzzing working under Lopetegui,” Ex revealed exclusively for The West Ham Way. “The new Head Coach has certainly come across well in the press thus far, but we know that the general feeling at the club is very positive.

“We understand he gets on very well with the players, he’s building a real togetherness in the group and his playing style is said to be one that they are all really responding too well.

“I’ve also been told the Academy players are happy and are feeling very much a part of things under the Spaniard.”

West Ham are now in Florida as we continue our pre-season work, with a match against Wolves scheduled for this Saturday in the Stateside Cup.
