West Ham have secured a new deal for Academy defender Regan Clayton, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The left-back, who was part of the Academy side who won the Fa Youth Cup & U18 Premier League South in 2023, has penned a contract which keeps him at the club until at least 2026.

Unfortunately Clayton is currently recovering from an injury, however Ex has stated that the new deal eliminates any doubts over his future and allows the player time to recover as soon as possible.

“West Ham have agreed a new extension to Regan Clayton’s pro deal, keeping him at the club until 2026,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“Regan has a long term injury and this was awarded to take away any uncertainty so he can focus on his recovery.”

Ex also advised on Emeka Adiele, who is set to sign his first professional contract with the club,

“Another promising left sided defender Emeka Adiele will sign his first professional contract with the club inline with his 17th birthday on the 31st July,” added our club insider.
