In connection with West Ham Fans Sweden’s 20th anniversary, WHFS together with The West Ham Way will organise a West Ham Event in Gothenburg on 23 November 2024.

The event will be held in a pub in central Gothenburg that we have rented exclusively for the event, where there is of course food and drink as well.

From The West Ham Way comes ExWHUEmployee and Dave Walker. We have three former players in place: Martin “Mad Dog” Allen, 1989-1995 with 190 games, 25 goals . Matthew Etherington, 2003-2009 with 165 games, 6 goals and James “Ginger Pele” Collins, 2005-2009 + 2012-2018 with 188 games, 6 goals for our Hammers.

We are also working to have another ex-player in place. Another guest is Mick Clifford who has over 1000 shirts worn by West Ham players during matches. Mick has also published the book Playing for the shirt.

Mick will talk about his experiences to get the shirts and about his book. All guests will be interviewed on stage and mingle with all participants during the rest of the time.

There will be an opportunity to talk to everyone, take photos and get autographs. There will also be a raffle and auction with many fine West Ham-related items.

If the Newcastle-West Ham match is not moved, the idea is that we will see it together at the venue at 16.00.
