West Ham still have a chance of signing an unbelievable centre-back despite him rejecting them.

Although the window started strong for West Ham, it quickly dipped into radio silence. Over the last few days though, things have quickly progressed with deals for Summerville, Fullkurg and Aaron Wan-Bissaka all looking positive.

However, there’s another target that’s got fans absolutely ecstatic at the idea of: Jean-Clair Todibo.

The French defender has been sensational for Nice and it’s believed his club accepted a loan deal with an obligation to buy €36 million. Unfortunately, the player has rejected the club as he’s desperate to join Juventus.

Thankfully, according to the Italian media, there is still hope. So far, the Old Lady have offered just €30 million and are unwilling to go any higher due to their financial issues. Considering they’re signing players like Koopemeiners and Adeyemi, it’s hard to imagine them finding that extra cash.

If this is the case, then there’s still a chance that Todibo reconsiders his stance and moves to the London Stadium. Not only would this represent a great signing, but also excellent business to get him on loan first.

It could be one that drags on till the end of the window, but if the Hammers get their man the wait will be more than worth it.
