Tim Steidten has seemingly proved his doubters wrong as West Ham continue to conduct some excellent business.

When David Moyes left, the one thing most fans hoped for was unity. For too long the West Ham fanbase has been divided and it has made supporting the club extremely toxic. Unfortunately, things haven’t got much better as the Moyes in vs Moyes out debate has developed into arguments over Tim Steidten instead.

Many have felt like the Hammers business has been underwhelming and a lot of their targets even more so. At least that was the case until recently.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Steidten has managed to completely turn the window around as he has all but secured three immense signings in one weekend. Summerville is arguably the best of the last and he’s already been announced. Signing the Dutchman alone would be immense business, but Rodriguez and Füllkrug are also said to be close to joining, Claret and Hugh reports.

Including Max Kilman, Luis Guilherme, the Irons have spent a gross £68.7 million, before add ons, having sold £37.8 million worth of players.

Thankfully, the business doesn’t seem to be done there either with Aaron Wan-Bissaka potentially joining and, if Aguerd or Zouma goes, a centre-back too. It’s shaping up to be the rebuild we all dreamed of, and you can only take your hat off to Tim Steidten as well as his recruitment team for the amazing work.
