Claret & Hugh has revealed the huge pay-off that Aaron Wan-Bissaka has demanded to leave Manchester United for West Ham United this summer.
The Hammers have been in negotiations with United for Wan-Bissaka for a number of weeks, talks heated up when the club moved on from Noussair Mazraoui. However, despite negotiations going well over the fee, the move has stalled due to a loyalty fee the defender is demanding to leave Old Trafford.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka isn’t necessarily lookin to leave Old Trafford this summer and would be more than happy to leave on a free when is contract expires next summer.
Some reports said he was looking for a £3m pay-off. However, Claret & Hugh has spoken to a top source at West Ham United and has confirmed the pay-off amount is much higher. Wan-Bissaka is actually asking for huge £7m pay-off.
The C&H source said: “Wan-Bissaka wants a £7m pay off from United because he’s a Bosman (free) in a year, that’s the problem.”
Manchester United have absolutely no intention to pay anywhere near this to AWB to leave, and they want West Ham to pay that on top of the £18m fee they have asked for. The Hammers too would refuse to pay that. The longer this goes on, the more unlikely this deal gets.
