Kurt Zouma looks set to leave West Ham this summer and Nayef Aguerd has been in the shop window for a while. The Hammers could now be open to selling Konstantinos Mavropanos just a year after signing him from Stuttgart, according to HITC

Mavropanos had a half-decent campaign at West Ham last season, however, it seems like Julen Lopetegui hasn’t really been a fan of the Greek International since arriving in East London. West Ham fans thought Lopetegui would love the defender after reportedly trying to sign him in the pas, but it seems like it hasn’t turned out like that.

Nayef Aguerd impressed initially following his £30 million arrival from French side Rennes in 2022, Mavropanos was seen as a great partner to the Moroccan after his £19 million move from Stuttgart. However, the plan did not go quite as expected, as the two were involved in a West Ham that was one of the worst in the League and the worst in West Ham’s Premier League history.

Lopetegui has upgraded them directly with the £75m double swoop of Jean-Clair Todibo and Max Kilman. West Ham would hope to bring in at least £40m from both players that cost the club a combined £50m in the last two windows. They will likely be replaced with one or two cheaper defenders; Oumar Solet, Mario Hermoso, and Nathan Zeze are all options for the Hammers.
