West Ham could miss out on one of their top targets if they don’t act fast.

If you had explained how good of a window West Ham would go on to have to fans before they made their first signing, they would have laughed at you. It’s simply breathtaking the amount of top quality players the Hammers have been able to sign.

For the most part, they’ve signed one of their top two targets in each position. Not only that, but the way they’ve gone about their business has been phenomenal. A lot of the deals got over the line incredibly quick which is a real change from the West Ham of old.

However, Tim Steidten’s magic may finally have reached its limit as he could be set to miss out on one of the club’s top remaining targets: Carlos Soler.

The PSG midfielder is someone that Lopetegui knows incredibly well and he’s said to be keen on bringing him to the London Stadium. However, in order to do so the club will likely have to sell one of their fringe players in his position meaning they’re not able to progress the deal as of right now.

Unfortunately, they’re not the only ones interested in acquiring his services. According to Get Football News France, while the Hammers and Brighton are two keen clubs, its Real Sociedad that are actually leading the race.

Understandably, a move back to his home country could be extremely enticing and, without the ability to sign him without selling, the Irons currently have little to offer to lure him away.
