West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville wins a massive award for his incredible Championship season.

While players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jean-Clair Todibo will understandably be the sort of players the media focuses on when it comes to West Ham’s new additions, Crysencio Summerville may just be the most exciting one.

The potential the 22-year-old winger has is unbelievable, and he properly began his work on fulfilling that last season in the Championship, where he managed 31 goal involvements for Leeds.

This sensational campaign has led to him being named the PFA’s Championship player of the year – an incredible achievement considering how many brilliant talents there were in the second-tier last season.

Although Leeds did not end up getting promoted, he was one of, if not, the key reasons they managed to get to the Play-Off finals. The Whites have been well and truly raided this Summer, and they may regret not taking full advantage of such an unbelievable talent as they may end up struggling to compete as much as they did last season.

Although it was only a brief cameo, his substitute appearance against Aston Villa was full of promise and fans will be extremely hopeful that he is able to continue his fine Championship form when playing for West Ham. He has already impressed in the Premier League before Leeds got relegated, and he’s only going to be better thanks to his season in the Championship.
