West Ham U18 captain Gideon Kodua has signed a new deal with the club ahead of a season move to Wycombe Wanderers.
The club finally secured the move to the League One side for the highly rated prospect, not before the player putting pen to paper on a new 2 year deal.
As was exclusively broken by ExWHUEmployee, the club had secured the immediate future of the attacking midfielder as he now steps forward in his development towards challenging for the first team at West Ham.
“I’ve worked hard for this, and now it’s about proving myself in a first team environment at senior level. I know I can do it,” Kodua told the club’s Official Website.
Kenny Brown, who is head of the Academy, is delighted for the player and says he’s someone who can be relied upon.
“He’s a player you can always rely on to deliver on the pitch,” said Brown. “He was a fantastic captain for our U18s, leading by example.”
