West Ham have moved closer to offloading Kurt Zouma this summer, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The former captain has been in talks with various clubs in recent weeks over an exit from east London, with the club making clear he is now surplus to requirements under new boss Julen Lopetegui.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, our Podcast co-host and club insider Ex has now advised that a medical for the defender is set to take place in the hope a deal can be struck for the Frenchman.

“We have had it confirmed to us that the club will enjoy a step year with the Zouma move to Saudi,” said the insider.

“It appears the player is due to have a medical with Al-Orouba Club. Obviously passing the medical is the key part and we will keep you updated if he does. It is also hoped that Saudi club Al-Ittiad could come in for Nayef Aguerd too.”
