West Ham will reportedly offload big earner by the end of the week as they prepare for big January signing,
While it may have taken a while, the Hammers did manage to get rid of a few of their fringe players towards the end of the window, even if they were only loans.
With that being said, there’s no denying that there are still a few players at the club who fans would be happy to see the back of.
Although he has put in some surprisingly good shifts when called upon as of late, there’s no denying that Danny Ings is someone that the club should be trying to move on. He’s believed to be the second highest earner at the club despite only scoring on two occasions in the Premier League.
Thankfully, according to Caught Offside, the striker will not be a West Ham player past the end of the week. Whether that be a move to a country like Saudi Arabia where their transfer window is still open, or whether that is a cancellation by mutual consent remains to be seen. The report claims that they will use the freed up wages to launch a bid to try and sign Jhon Duran again in January.
However, Ings has turned down moves away from East London before, stating that he is happy at the club and doesn’t wish to play elsewhere. Admittedly that’s a good mindset to have, but at the same time it could very well be because he knows no one else will match his wages, especially for how little work he actually has to do.
