West Ham are set to face a tough test when we head to Craven Cottage this weekend, with Chis Sutton giving his prediction.
It will be another weekend of football where our Hammers remain in the capital, as we head to the west end of the City to face a very well-drilled and dangerous Fulham side, who could well have European aspirations in their minds this season.
It may a tall-order at present, but there is no denying that Fulham are now a very much well-established Premier League side under Marco Silva, with them set to provide a stern test for Julen Lopetegui.
BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton has given his view on how he see’s things panning out at Craven Cottage, with the former striker feeling its too close to call.
“This is tricky,” said Sutton. “These kind of games are the reason I have been losing every week, because I really can’t call them.
“Fulham are bright and try to play good football, and West Ham are the same. The Hammers actually ran Manchester City pretty close before the international break, but still ended up losing.
“There will be chances at both ends but I can’t pick a winner, so I am going to go with a draw – in fact the more I think about it, the more this game has got draw written all over it.” (1-1)
On the other hand, Ife Ogunjobi from jazz band Ezra Collective believes that West Ham will take all three points, in what would be a very big win and send a strong message should that be the outcome.
“Fulham have got a good team and have made some decent additions, but I think West Ham will take this one. 1-2.”
