David Moyes has revealed he has received enquiries from clubs and countries looking to make him their manager, but he is in no rush to make a decision, according to a report from talkSPORT.

To a lot of outsiders surprise, David Moyes was let go after a very successful four and half years at the helm at London Stadium in the summer.

Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, he was asked if it’s felt strange to not be in the dugout this season, but he said: “No, not strange at all.

“I’m enjoying my time off, I’ve watched a few games but I’m also taking some time off to spend time with the family, play a bit of golf. “We’ll see how things go in the future but at the moment, I’m really cool, just taking a bit of time off.”

Moyes was seen playing a round of golf with fellow former Hammers manager Sam Allardyce at Lytham St Anne’s in Liverpool, which has raised questions as to whether he could be set for a return to Everton after a poor start to the season under Sean Dyche.

However, there is yet to be any concrete reports as of yet. When the Scotsman was asked about a potential managerial return, he said: “I don’t know yet, I don’t know.

“I’ve not made that decision yet and I don’t want to make that decision. I just want to see how it goes.

“I’ve had some really nice enquiries from clubs and countries as well at different times, but I’m just taking my time, and we’ll see how it goes.”

At this stage, a Premier League move later in the season seems to be the likely opportunity for David Moyes, and Everton would probably be top of that list. The Wolves job could also come up with Gary O’Neil under pressure after a very poor start to the 24/25 campaign.
