West Ham remain interested in English centre-back reports have stated.

Despite having a new manager, a new back line, and a new style of play, West Ham have still conceded far too many goals this season. While it has been pretty worrying at times, things do seem to be improving now that Jean-Clair Todibo has been slowly eased into life in the Premier League.

Surprisingly though, the club are said to still be interested in signing Fikayo Tomori if he is allowed to leave by AC Milan, Milan Live reports.

His recent performances have been well below the level required at a massive club like Milan. He’s been at fault for a few of the goals they’ve conceded this season already, but fellow defender Theo Hernandez has also been under an equal amount of scrutiny.

Concerns have also emerged about his attitude too, with the report claiming that this could be the deciding factor in his future.

If he is to be sold, the Hammers are set to face competition from both Aston Villa and Fulham for his signature.

Considering that the Irons have spent not far from £100 million on defenders this past Summer, if you take into account their buy-clause in Todibo’s contract, then you have to question whether or not he’s truly needed. If he’s performing at his best, then he’d be an unbelievable signing, but there’s a reason Milan are considering selling him.
