West Ham fans frustrated as club make controversial decision.

Football is full of iconic things. From games, to goals, to players, to stadiums, it’s what makes the sport so unique. However, it’s not just those things that affect games directly which can go down in history, it’s also aesthetic things.

Above all else, it’s kits that tend to go down in history from a visual point of view. Some of the most memorable moments are forever attached to a kit, so it’s a shame that the best moment in West Ham’s history, Jarrod Bowen’s late winner to secure his side the Conference League, was scored in one of the worst kits the club has ever had.

While this year’s kits have gone down rather well, Umbro have been hit or miss in their year-long-partnership with the Hammers. When they get it right, their kits compete with the likes of Adidas, but it’s not all that often they do.

With the deal between the two set to come to an end, many fans had hoped that they’d get a new kit maker. Unfortunately, according to Claret and Hugh, this will not be the case.

The report claims that the Irons reviewed their options, but decided to stick with Umbro. This means that they will remain in charge of making the club’s kits for the time being.

Although this isn’t necessarily the news fans wanted to hear, if this year’s anything to go by, it isn’t the end of the world – things could be an awful lot worse.
