West Ham are raring to for our London derby showdown with Spurs tomorrow for the early kick off.

Julen Lopetegui takes his Hammers side to face our rivals in north London, looking to build momentum on the impressive victory last time out against Ipswich ahead of the international break.

The Head Coach though was quick to dismiss the win over the Tractor Boys when talking to the press, and said that the focus now was fully on going to Spurs and picking up the three points.

“We were happy to have the victory, but now we are focused 100 per cent on the next challenge, which will be a very hard challenge against in my opinion one of the best teams in the Premier League,” Lopetegui said, as reported by the clubs Official Website.

“They have big, big intensity, very good players and very good ideas so we have to be ready to have the right answer.

“Saturday’s match will be different from those we have played away so far, in the same way that Ipswich was different to those at home.

“We put the same importance on all the matches, home or away.”

Lopetegui was keen to praise his West Ham players, in particular their work rate and commitment since his arrival to the club in the summer.

“They work hard and they know that if we want to achieve good things we have to work very hard every day and have the team feeling,” added Lopetegui. “This is the first step

“I am happy with this commitment and we are trying to improve in different ways, with and without the ball, but always with the feeling of hard work as a team.”
