West Ham fell apart and the pressure is now ramping up on Julen Lopetegui following the loss to Spurs.

This is very much the joint view of many, including The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee, who were both rightly furious following the display in north London yesterday.

Despite starting well and taking the lead in the derby, West Ham were second best and following the break, with the game at 1-1, Lopeteguis side fell apart.

It was a poor showing thaw saw Spurs score 3 quick goals to embarrass West Ham and leave many questioning where this season is going under the new Head Coach.

“More goals conceded in an embarrassing capitulation that actually could’ve been worse,” said a frustrated Walker.

“We need to see an improvement soon otherwise J Lo is going to start seriously feeling the pressure and rightfully so. Not good enough.”

ExWHUEmployee agreed with Walker, stating that yesterday was again another depressing moment for West Ham.

“It was an awful second half that cost us the game again,” said Ex. “Same individuals making the same mistakes and all in all a depressing result all round.”
