Carlton Cole has claimed that talkSPORT reporter Adrian Durham is “bang out of order” after claiming that the London Stadium is the worst stadium in the Premier League.

Live on talkSPORT, Adrian Durham compiled a list that ranked the Premier League’s stadiums, he placed West Ham’s London stadium last in the list claiming “It’s not a football ground, is it?”

Since the Hammers have moved in fans of other clubs often claim how bad their experience and view is on away days. In fact, there is a large number of Hammers fans who agree and do not like the London Stadium at all. However, some fans have really grown to like the stadium.

Former Hammers striker and cult hero Carlton Cole agrees with those fans, he berated Durham live on talkSPORT for this opinion. He said: “What? West Ham are right at the bottom? He just doesn’t like West Ham,” Cole said. “He’s obviously not been given the full London Stadium experience.”

Cole added: “That’s bang out of order. Why are we even taking this serious?”

Cole and Hammers fans would’ve felt further begrudged upon learning London rivals Tottenham were ranked sixth on Durham’s list, with Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium one behind in seventh and Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge trailing in 14th place.

The London Stadium is often very quiet, however, it is capable of some brilliant nights. West Ham fans always reminisce about the Europa League round of 16 second-leg against Sevilla. The Hammers fans’ support was crucial in getting the team over the line that night, and the stadium erupted when Yarmolenko smashed in the winner in extra-time after 120 minutes of pure chants.

The London Stadium is capable of becoming a fortress, however, if this poor form continues under Lopetegui, the former Olympic Stadium could also turn into a toxic place to watch football, which would prove Adrian Durham right.
