West Ham have taken a Ghanaian defender on trial, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
As the club continue to work on strenghening our Academy, Tim Steidten has arranged for Abdul Rashid Adam to work in east London over the next number of weeks.
“We can exclusively reveal that West Ham have taken Ghanaian defender Abdul Rashid Adam on trial for the next few weeks,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“The 18 year old versatile defender has attracted interest from clubs in Europe and Tim Steidten was said to have brought him over to train with our under 18s this week. The player is currently contracted to Benrab FC who are in the second division of Ghana’s football league system.
“The club already has a number of highly rated defenders already in the academy and a decision will need to be made on whether Adam offers more potential. Due to the quality of the players already at the club a decision has yet to be made on whether the club will turn the trial into a permanent move.”
