Julen Lopetegui has suggested that the time is now for Crysencio Summerville to arrive in east London.

It’s been a somewhat slow start to life for the former Leeds winger, who has struggled for game time as Lopetegui continues to struggle to find his best team.

The suspension of Mohammed Kudus has opened the door for Summerville to shine and grab the shirt, with the Ghana forward looking more likely to receive a ban longer than the usual 3 matches.

Lopetegui in his press conference, as reported by the clubs Official Website, appeared to suggest that Summerville will be ready to take his chance, without officially naming the player.

“The most important focus for me regarding Mohammed Kudus’s absence is the player who is going to play in his place, and to put the focus on sometimes one problem is one opportunity, and we have to try to catch this moment as an opportunity for the team and for other players,” said the Head Coach.

“I am sure that the player is going to play in his place is going to be ready to do well and to help us to win the match.

“We have a player ready to play for him. I am not going to say today what the lineup will be, but I am sure that the player who is going to play in his place is going to do well. I repeat that sometimes one problem is one opportunity and we have to try to catch this moment and this opportunity.”
