An up and coming Brazilian striker could be on his way to West Ham.

Bar the Ipswich game, every time West Ham have picked up a win this season it has felt like more of an anomaly rather than them deserving the victory Julen Lopetegui doesn’t seem to have a set style of play, but this isn’t the only reason they’ve been struggling.

While signings like Todibo and Kilman are great, others weren’t so excellent. Some just do not fit Lopetegui’s system, as seems to be the case for Wan-Bissaka, while others were baffling signings from day one.

When the Hammers have been desperate for a long-term solution to their striker woes, the last thing they should have done is sign a 31-year-old, injury prone, forward with no Premier League experience – but they did exactly that.

Given his abysmal start to life in claret and blue, it should not come as a surprise that the club are said to be looking at potential strikers to sign in the coming windows.

According to TBR Football, the Irons are considering making a move for Yuri Alberto. The Brazilian has had an immense 2024 season for Corinthians which has seen him contribute to 30 goals across all competitions.

Interestingly, he could be available on an initial loan which could really appeal to West Ham considering how much they’ve spent this Summer.
