West Ham hierarchy see the Everton fixture as a must-win for Julen Lopetegui, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
Following what was yet another poor performance which has many left wondering what the gameplan was, Lopetegui finds himself under immense pressure with the players clearly struggling to adapt to what the instructions are from the Head Coach.
Despite the Spaniard having been at the helm for 6 months, West Ham look a side no better off from the side that struggled in the opening day loss to Aston Villa at the London Stadium – in fact it could be argued we have regressed further.
Although there would be a period of patience required to allow for the new players and management team to gel, the fact West Ham look so far off the pace is becoming alarming and it appears the majority of supporters have lost patience with the former Wolves manager.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider ExWHUEmployee has stated that although the club are still supporting Lopetegui at this point, the match against Everton on Saturday is now regarded as a must-win.
This morning the top source at the club was asked what the manager’s future holds and he replied with the following:
“We are still 100% behind the manger, but results will need to improve.”
The source has also added that “Everton is a must win game”
The suggestion that Saturday is regarded as a must-win, leaves serious questions over Lopetegui’s future at the club should West Ham fail to claim all 3 points against the Toffees.
