West Ham could let one of their biggest assets leave in a swap deal which would see them bring in a superb striker.

Despite signing Niclas Fullkrug, West Ham’s striker woes still continue. Unfortunately, it’s something that is having a massive effect on Julen Lopetegui’s side and as a result they’re still keen on bringing in another striker according to reports.

The Daily Mail claims that they could sign £30 million striker Igor Jesus to solve their issues.

The 23-year-old Brazilian returned to his home country after four years in UAE, and he’s had an incredible start. In 22 games, he’s contributed to 11 goals which has led to his massive evaluation.

Although he hasn’t been at the club particularly long, Botafogo are said to be willing to sell for the right price.

Interestingly, the report claims that Lucas Paqueta could be sent the other way as well. His ongoing investigation into a potential betting scandal means that the club may be more willing to listen to offers.

Whether or not this goes through depends on when the final decision is made on his innocence, and it will be interesting to see if there is any money exchanged on top of the players if the deal does happen.
