A Premier League side are set to make a shock move for a West Ham star.
Over the past few years there have been three teams trying to make the step up to that next level. West Ham, Newcastle, and Aston Villa have all consistently pushed for European football, with the latter looking the most likely to sustain this.
However, that doesn’t mean the other two will stop trying, and this could even mean they attempt to buy each other’s best players.
Unfortunately for the Hammers, Newcastle are keen on signing a right winger in the coming windows, with TEAMtalk reporting that Jarrod Bowen is top of their priority list.
Every year the Englishman seems to get better and better, with him contributing to more league goals last season than Vinicius Jr.
Bowen is contracted with West Ham until 2030, is club captain, is engaged with a girl from a famously claret and blue family, and absolutely adored the club – it would take a ridiculous amount of money to get him to move.
It’s highly unlikely the board would sanction a move for Bowen, and it’s even more unlikely he’d force his way out of the club for a team that’s at a similar level to what he’s already at.
