Newcastle’s injury situation will make West Ham fans roll their eyes.
West Ham have a habit of making the opposition’s average players look excellent. Countless strikers have their best goal scoring record against the Hammers, and it’s something that haunts them repeatedly.
Arguably the biggest example of this is Callum Wilson. While a good striker, he’s never been anything exceptional; except when he plays against the Hammers.
Unfortunately, following his back injury, he is reportedly set to make a miraculous recovery just in time for his favourite fixture.

Alongside him, The Shield Gazette also reports that Kieran Trippier is set to come back from a hamstring injury.
Fortunately, it’s not all bad news for the Irons as Lascelles, Botman, and Krafth will all be unavailable.
West Ham will still be without Mohammed Kudus following his extended suspension and, unless things change, Niclas Fullkrug.
