West Ham are said to be interested in a Spanish wonder-kid.

Over the years, very few teams have managed to bring up and coming youngsters to the big stage like West Ham have. Some of England’s best players have been given the light of day thanks to the Hammers.

However, they also have a knack of bringing through some excellent youth talents from abroad, and it looks like they could be about to do that once again.

According to TBR Football, West Ham are looking at signing young midfielder Jack Guerra.

The 21-year-old Spaniard has cemented his place in Valencia’s squad over the past couple of seasons, contributing to five goals during the last campaign.

Obviously he’s still incredibly young and, therefore, raw but he’s shown incredible potential.

The issue is, the Hammers have so many genuinely youngsters with the potential to become Premier League players already in their ranks. None of them have had a proper opportunity in the first team, and it’s a disgrace.

Bringing in someone who’s not much more proven than them would not only be a kick in the teeth to those players, but it would be financially irresponsible when other Premier League sides have shown interest in signing their youth players.
