A new West Ham signing is struggling to settle into life in England and is unhappy with the atmosphere.

Very few professional footballers disagree with the fact that the Premier League is the best, most competitive, and hard to adapt to league in the world.

Unfortunately, that makes signing the right players very difficult for a club like West Ham, as they have to not only be sure they have enough talent to compete at the pinnacle of football, but also that they have the physical capability to do so.

Since signing on a free transfer in the Summer, Guido Rodriguez’s time in claret and blue has been mediocre at best. He took a while to settle in, but he’s been doing an okay job as of late.

However, after just a matter of months, the Argentinian is reportedly regretting his move, with SPORT saying he is struggling to adapt to the physicality.

He’s also said to be extremely disappointed with the general atmosphere at Premier League games and, if this is the case, he will certainly be unhappy with the Hammers’ home games.

While he’s been a regular starter for Julen Lopetegui, it’s certainly a position they need to improve upon in the coming windows. If he doesn’t progress soon, he may be left with no choice but to leave – although that may just be what he wants.
