Graham Potter is reportedly “itching” for a move to a club like West Ham.

Sacking David Moyes was always going to be a controversial decision, but replacing him with Julen Lopetegui was foolish. The decision to not go all out and spend money on a manager that would actually be an ideal fit for the club is a decision that has come back to haunt West Ham.

Unfortunately, while things could still turn around, many fans are feeling like it’s a matter of when Lopetegui gets sacked rather than if.

As a result, it’s reported that the Hammers have been looking at potential replacements, with Graham Potter being linked with the job on a number of occasions.

However, it’s previously been believed that he would not want to take over at the London Stadium, According to The Sun though, this is no longer the case.

They claim that he is “itching” to get back into coaching, and would now be open to the West Ham job.

David Sullivan however, may not be so keen on this idea. It’s been stated numerous times that he does not believe Potter is a particularly good manager and that his success at Brighton was purely down to their recruitment. With that being said, there’s every chance he could change his mind given how poor West Ham have been this season.
