West Ham to battle Southampton and Celtic for the singing of Scottish wonder twins, according to a report from The Sun.
The Hammers are interested in a move for Airdrie’s sixteen year-old twin sensations Cole and Dylan Williams. The pair are reportedly able to leave the Airdrieonians, where they are currently on short-term contracts.
The Williams twins have played for Airdrie’s U18’s and have appeared on the bench for the first team, however, they are yet to make their debuts for the Scottish Championship side.
They both starred at youth level against Celtic, and a switch to the Scottish champions would be the post likely move for both twins as they were previously on the books. The Bhoys are well in the race, however, West Ham and Southampton are said to be ahead.
It’s not just the Williams twins Julen Lopetegui’s side have been linked to this week, they are interested in a move for Manchester City’s James McAtee as a potential Lucas Paqueta replacement, who could make a surprise return to Brazil in January.
