West Ham are not willing to sell their star player “for any price”.

While much of the blame for West Ham’s awful start to the season has been placed on Julen Lopetegui, and for good reason, it doesn’t mean that he is solely responsible. Many of the club’s players simply have not shown up when it matters this season.

Although he’s not been quite as good as he can be, there’s no denying that Jarrod Bowen has still been outstanding throughout this campaign. He is the only Premier League player this season to have completed over 20 key passes and successful dribbles.

The fact he cost the club so little is unbelievable, and it’s no wonder that David Sullivan is said to have called him his second-best signing behind Payet.

However, that level of player does not go without interest with various reports claiming the likes of Newcastle, Liverpool, and Tottenham have shown interest over recent windows.

Thankfully, Andy Dillon has claimed that the owners have no intention whatsoever of selling him. “Having pulled off what now appears a masterful deal buying Bowen from Hull for  £22 million, Sullivan would not sell him for any price,” Dillon stated.

His long term contract should mean he remains in claret and blue for the foreseeable future, but the fact he clearly loves the club so much should suggest that he will be staying here for a long time anyway. With that being said, it’s always reassuring to hear that the owners are on the right page.
