David Sullivan’s massive managerial change of stance could see West Ham appoint an exciting Premier League gaffer.

Julen Lopetegui is on extremely thin ice at West Ham and it seems like, barring a miraculous turn around, his time at the club could be short lived.

Unfortunately there’s a real lack of identity and a set playing style under him, and results have been a bit generous if anything towards him.

As a result, the club are said to be preparing a list of potential successors for the Spaniard, with teamTALK claiming that the Irons could bring in Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola. “One name that has come up is Bournemouth manager, Andoni Iraola. The Cherries boss has been superb since his arrival and sources have stated he is being eyed up by a number of top sides. West Ham is seen as a very attractive option for managers due to the size of the club”

To bring in Lopetegui’s fellow countryman would mean that David Sullivan has to have a major change of heart when it comes to signing managers. His philosophy previously has been bringing in managers who are available for free, but he may have seen the massive error in his ways, Iraola is a manager on the up and appointing him would be absolutely huge.
