West Ham have once again been linked with a move for their long term striker target.

Whether it’s journalists making assumptions or the club genuinely being obsessed, West Ham can not stop being linked with signing Youssef En-Nesyri.

Despite turning down a move to East London multiple times, The People reports that the Hammers remain interested in securing his signature in the coming windows.

The Moroccan recently signed for Fenerbahçe following an immense season for Sevilla which saw him get 20 goal involvements across all competitions.

However, since joining Jose Mourinho’s side, his playing time has been limited. The striker has started just 6 games this season, scoring just 3 times in 12 league appearances.

Obviously this is incredibly poor for a player of his quality in the Turkish league, and you would hope the club would recognise this. When they’ve signed so many strikers who have flopped, the board really can not take any risks when it comes to bringing in their next No.9. They have to be absolutely certain he will score the goals, otherwise it will likely prove to be just another waste of money given their track record.
