West Ham are set to welcome back players tonight for our crunch showdown with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Pressure on the club and Julen Lopetegui in particular is being felt ahead of the Premier League game following yet another poor display and defeat this season – this time a 5-2 loss to Arsenal.
It is a result that many will be expecting West Ham to respond to, with anything other than a victory likely to pose more questions over the long term future of the Head Coach.
Lopetegui though, who returns to the dugout himself tonight after recovering from suspension, is set to be boosted by the return of star player Mohammed Kudus, who has now served his 5 match ban.
It is also understood that Niclas Fullkrug has an outside change of featuring in a shock return, with our club insider ExWHUEmployee advising that a late decision will be made on whether the German international will be available for Lopetegui.
There is however an injury concern surrounding Jean-Clair Todibo – with Ex reporting that there is a significant doubt over whether he will be available for selection tonight.
“The main doubt today is Jean-Clair Todibo who has had a few minor injuries and may also be rested from first team duties today with Konstantinos Mavopanos the likely replacement,” Ex stated on The West Ham Way Patreon.
Harry Winks, Abdul Fatawu, Ricardo Pereira and Jakub Stolarczyk are missing for the hosts, while new boss Ruud van Nistelrooy may have Caleb Okoli available, although he is a doubt.
Tonight’s match kicks off at 8:15pm and is being shown live on Amazon Prime.
