West Ham have decided to offer Julen Lopetegui more time as Head Coach, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Following what was a high expectancy that the club would relieve the Spaniard of his duties, the club appear to have decided in favour of giving him another game at least to turn the situation around.

There can be no denying that this season so far has been a bad one for the club, with a relegation battle appearing more likely than any expectation to be competing in the top half of the table.

Ex revealed earlier that talks had taken place with potential new Head Coach’s, should the club had sacked Lopetegui – but those talks don’t appear to have been as well as hoped.

“Talks with some of the other managers have not gone as well as thought today with a few not keen on a short term deal, said the club insider.

“At this stage as we suggested could happen from the very start, it appears that Lopetegui having taken training today will be given a stay of execution for the Wolves game whilst other targets are spoke to incase he doesn’t get the run of results needed to keep his job.

“The board decided in favour of him remaining for now. Other targets will be continually explored.”
