It’s no secret that West Ham have been looking for a successor for Michail Antonio for quite some time now. Unfortunately, his horrific car accident has only accelerated this desperation.
Although Niclas Fulkrug recently scored his first Premier League goal, the Irons are still desperate to bring in another striker in January. The issue with this is that their big Summer spend means their budget is likely to be limited.

Reports have stated that Brighton could be convinced to let Evan Ferguson leave on loan in January – a deal that would suit our Irons’ small kitty perfectly.
Although the 20-year-old’s game time has been limited, he’s proven over previous seasons that he has what it takes to be a club’s first choice striker. His development hasn’t been helped by injuries, but that’s something that can still be worked on at his age.
If the option is there, he is absolutely the striker I would like to see us bring in. He’s young, hungry, and Premier League proven. He is relatively speedy for someone of his height, has a real eye for goal, and can drop back to help in build up play; it would be foolish to not sign him.
