West Ham have shown interest in signing an ageing Chelsea reject.

With Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Paqueta, and Crysencio Summerville on their books, it’s no doubt that West Ham have some excellent depth on the wings. However with Ghanaian being subject to interest from other clubs, and the Brazilian potentially facing a ban from the sport completely, the Hammers are looking at potential replacements.

With Hakim Ziyech openly saying he wants to leave Galatasaray, as well as slating their manager, it’s been reported that the Irons could look to sign the former Chelsea player.

In 64 Premier League games he only managed 14 goal involvements. Since joining the Turkish side last season he’s scored 6 goals and assisted a further 4.

Given how unimpressive his stats were in England, it’s a signing our Irons should steer well clear of. If they do need to replace either Kudus or Paqueta, they need to do so with a young, hungry player who has the potential to be something special.
