West Ham transfer target will only join if he’s promised consistent playing time.

With the transfer window now open, rumours are ramping up and talks are beginning to take place about potential signings.

West Ham aren’t expected to have a huge amount of money to spend, but they are very keen on making some additions this month.

James McAtee is someone the Hammers have been repeatedly linked with over the past couple of months. However, recent reports have claimed that he will only join a club if he is confident he will get consistent playing time.

If this is the case it’s hard to imagine him joining unless Mohammed Kudus or Lucas Paqueta led the club as having those two makes it unlikely that he will start many games.

For our Irons, an initial loan deal would be ideal for the youngster, but it remains to be seen whether Manchester City would be open to this.
