West Ham appear to be losing further patience with Julen Lopetegui after yet another poor result this season.

The Spaniard has been under considerable pressure for some time, and recent back-to-back heavy losses have many calling for the club to act and remove Lopetegui from his position as Head Coach.

Our club insider and Podcast co-host ExWHUEmployee has spoken to a top source within the club, who advised that the pressure is continuing to mount on Lopetegui, although with no indication that his sacking is imminent.

“We asked the question “Does the result change the position of the manager?” said Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“The reply we have received back is:

“Puts him further under pressure, we are letting in too many goals and look far too fragile”.

“Of course what this actually means I again have no idea and can only speculate like anyone else can but to me it suggests that the manager may survive another game.

“I cannot confirm this factually it is just using the same quote that you all have there to make my assumption. I always felt he would be given the Villa cup game and it does appear to be the case.

“At the moment no board meeting has been called so this provides further evidence. Of course this could all change and if it does I will let you know.

“The question was also asked of whether David Moyes had any chance of a return to the position following his appearance at the game today. This response was received.

“Not really, as much as I like him, we started letting in lots of goals in the last six months under him”.
