Agent claims that West Ham Summer signing regrets moving to the club.
West Ham spent a lot of money in the Summer, but it’s not worked out in their favour. While some of the signings they made have been brilliant, a fair few have been abysmal.
Although the jury is definitely still out, Jean-Clair Todibo certainly hasn’t lived up to the hype that once surrounded him. After a falling out with Lopetegui, he’s struggled to get game time.
Shockingly, Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito has claimed that the defender could leave the club in the coming windows, with a move to Juventus still being on the cards. “For the moment Juventus have only a limited number of defenders. Todibo is sending messages to Juve, he regretted going to West Ham, but I think [Juve sporting director] Giuntoli is unlikely to go for players who have said no to him.”
“This morning I spoke to the director of West Ham who told me that Todibo will leave, they spent €190 million there.”
It’s important to note that this man is not Todibo’s agent, nor is it clear whether he actually has contact with any director at the club. Although he’s not had a great start, there’s a reason top clubs were desperate to sign him. He needs consistent starts, and preferably a manager who’s not setting up the team to concede a record amount of goals.
