Tim Steidten could walk away from West Ham after being reportedly barred from attending the training ground.

The last 24 hours have been intense to say the least. Julen Lopetegui has come under immense pressure and it looks like, if reports are to be believed, Graham Potter could replace him as West Ham manager sooner rather than later.

However, there could be another major change on the horizon as our own ExWHUEmployee has reported that Tim Steidten could walk after being asked to stay away from the training ground, as well as reports claiming that he has had some power stripped away from him, due to a “conflict of interests”.

Obviously it remains to be seen whether he would take that step but, in my opinion, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the board sack him too. Not only have a few of the signings he’s made been failures, but his general conduct has been questionable.

I find it hard to believe that it’s a coincidence that he’s been barred from the training ground twice now, particularly with two separate managers. He clearly must be causing some major problems being the scene and you have to ask whether that’s the sort of man you want at the club? Potter will presumably be keen to bring in some of his old recruitment team too, if that’s the case then Steidten’s time at West Ham could be drawing to a close.
